Friday game updates

The B-B-E Jaguars football team is in their season opener at Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City high school tonight. The link to view the Internet live stream has been posted in previous blog posts.

In the second quarter, A-C-GC has a 14-0 lead. They scored early in the first quarter for an 8-0 lead, but the Jaguars have been able to put up a great fight so far.

*Update: the Falcons scored on a quarterback run with about seven minutes left in the second quarter. The extra point attempt failed. Current score: A-C-GC 20, B-B-E 0.

*Update: with 3:47 left in the first half, ACGC holds a 26-0 lead.

Halftime: ACGC 26, BBE 0.

Also at halftime, I have heard these scores: Holdingford 16, Sauk Centre 8. As well as Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta 28, Minnewaska Area 0.

*Update: at the start of the fourth quarter, the Falcons hold a 34-0 lead.

**Update: the Jaguars just had a pretty exciting goal-line stand. They held off ACGC inside their 10-yard line.
