If you skip ahead to the 10-minute mark, your mind will be blown away! Walter Cronkite explains the "Home of the Future" as what was predicted for the year 2001 from the vantage point of the 1960s. It is fascinating.

The video talks about having a computer in the kitchen, allowing the father to conduct work right at home as well as the children to do school work at home. And then let your mind wander back to 2021 and see where we're at with expanded work-from-home methods and "distance learning"!

Little did they know that the huge, huge computer monstrosity that's shown in the video, sitting in the middle of the kitchen, would instead be a small item that can lay on a person's hand: the SmartPhone.
