*Update: at 152 pounds, Maximus Hanson lost a heartbreaker by a 3-2 decision in his opening match today. 

Dylan Kampsen took the mat on Mat 2 at about 11 a.m.

And Dylan Kampsen won his opening match today! He either won by a major decision or a pin. I didn't catch the end of his match. *He won by fall (5:17)!!

*Late morning updates from LPGE high school...

At 195 pounds, Carson Gilbert wrestled, but I don't have a final score. He trailed 3-1 in the second period. *He lost a 5-3 decision.

At 220 pounds, Mark Jenniges lost a 7-3 decision in his opener. Jenniges (24-8) now faces fellow senior Brody Forsell (26-7) of Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg in the wrestlebacks to stay alive. Forsell lost his opener today by a 7-2 decision to senior Brady Kroll (27-4) of Barnesville.

OTHER OPENER MATCH RESULTS:

At 120, Ryan Jensen won by fall (0:36).

At 126, Walker Bents won by fall (5:05).

At 132, Wyatt Engen lost by fall (5:54).

At 138, Tyler Jensen won a 12-1 major decision.

At 145, Blaine Fischer won by fall (4:59).
