State tournament notes: wrestling and girls' basketball

The individual state wrestling tournament runs tomorrow at St. Michael-Albertville high school.

For the girls' basketball team, their state tournament game is likely next Tuesday. There will be no solid information on the schedule until tomorrow morning.

There's a good case that could be made for West Central Area to be seeded No. 3 in the north half of the state tournament. In that case, the Section 8A winner would be the No. 4 seed. Tonight's game looms large in that case, and I'm gonna try digging up the video player for that championship game in Thief River Falls.

That's all I know now, I'll get more posted soon.

Here's video featuring about the last four minutes of Wednesday's sub-section championship game at Nevis:

More to come.

*Don't forget! Tonight is FISH FRY night! The Knights of Columbus are serving at the KaDe Shack from 5 to 8:30 p.m.! It's GOOD! Bring the family!
