Thursday action recap: CMC sweep

Thanks in large part to a five-spot put up in the top of the second inning, the B-B-E Jaguars baseball team earned a 10-2 win in game one of their doubleheader at Irish Stadium in Maple Lake yesterday. B-B-E had eight hits to seven for the Irish. In game two, the Jaguars out-hit the Irish by a 9-to-2 margin to earn a 4-2 win and complete the series sweep. This lifts the Jaguars above .500 to 8-7 overall (6-7 Central Minnesota Conference).

The B-B-E Jaguars fastpitch team lost two games to conference-leading Maple Lake on Thursday. They fell 15-0 in the first game and 12-0 in the second game.

And graduation is tonight! I'll get more on that posted this afternoon. It will be live streamed, and it begins at 7:30 p.m. Life is still in the fast lane.
