Season-opening win
In their season opener tonight, the B-B-E Jaguars boys' basketball team defeated KMS 56-43. They quickly expanded on a 27-23 halftime score by knocking down three early 3-pointers to start the second half.
The Jaguars shot a very solid 39 percent from the field while draining eight three-pointers overall. Kaden Pieper led the scoring with 20 points, and Luke Dingmann was also in double figures with 12 points. Rounding out the scoring: Gannon Walsh 9, Gavin Kampsen 6, Easton Hagen 3, Will VanBeck 2, Tanner Shelton 2, Ben Thonvold 2.

Also tomorrow...the B-B-E Jaguars wrestling team opens the season with a home invitational starting at 3 p.m. Teams included are Holdingford, Milaca, New London-Spicer, Ortonville and Willmar.
Next is another non-conference home game next Thursday night against Osakis.
