Friday night game updates!


Against Maple Lake, the B-B-E Jaguars girls' basketball team trailed 7-2 after two minutes and five seconds were played. Halftime: B-B-E 33, Maple Lake 24. The Irish enter tonight's contest with a 4-13 overall record and a 2-8 mark (seventh) in the Central Minnesota Conference.

In the opening minutes of their game, the B-B-E Jaguars boys' basketball team had a 7-4 lead over state-ranked Cass Lake-Bena. At halftime: B-B-E 41, CL-B 31; Ashton Dingmann canned a three-pointer just before the buzzer to give the Jaguars the 10-point lead. CL-B (15-0) is currently ranked No. 2 in the latest Minnesota Basketball News state poll; they are averaging 83.7 points per game.
