Conference title on the line tonight
After catching my breath yesterday, it's time to jump back in the saddle and get the jet engine turbines up to speed that propel the Bonanza Valley Voice newspaper's news and sports department.
A huge, HUGE match is coming just a few hours from now when the B-B-E Jaguars wrestling team travels to West Central Area high school in Barrett, MN for a quadrangular. All four teams competing are ranked in the Top 10 of the latest Guillotine state rankings. The No. 1-ranked Jaguars jump head first into a battle of epic proportions when they face No. 7-ranked Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City at 5 p.m. In the other match taking place at 5 p.m., No. 4-ranked Royalton-Upsala squares off with No. 5-ranked and host West Central Area/Ashby/Brandon-Evansville. If you can make the trip to WCA high school, I strongly encourage it! Get there a little before 5 and get a good seat!
More to come on sports later tonight. I'm working on a new blog post that will include the latest COVID-19 news plus sets of "good news" and "area news" items.
