Two hard-fought basketball conference wins *UPDATED

We had two home Central Minnesota Conference basketball games tonight in Jaguar Country. It was a crazy busy night.

The B-B-E Jaguars girls' basketball team survived a scare from Paynesville Area to remain in the chase for a share of the CMC title. After holding a 19-16 lead at halftime, the Jaguars were outscored by the Bulldogs by a one-point margin while claiming a 54-52 win. B-B-E is now 15-8 overall and 9-3 in the CMC. We are still awaiting a score from Kimball's game at Royalton tonight.

The B-B-E Jaguars boys' basketball team defeated Eden Valley-Watkins 63-49 to continue their hold on first place in the CMC. The Jaguars and Eagles were tied at 30-30 at halftime. B-B-E improves to 9-1 in the CMC and 18-3 overall with their 11th straight win.

More to come in the morning. I may have to add two more pages to my 14-page monster of a newspaper tonight. Uff Da.
