Mopping up on the Huskers
The B-B-E Jaguars boys' basketball team won by a wide margin at Holdingford tonight in their final Central Minnesota Conference game of the season. The Jaguars won 78-45 to finish the CMC loop with a 13-1 mark. This is their best CMC record since 2013-2014 and best yet under head coach Chris Anderson.
The Jaguars (22-3) wrap up the regular season on Thursday this week at tough-as-nails Hancock.
I learned that the B-B-E Jaguars girls' basketball team will host Long Prairie-Grey Eagle (3-20) for the playoff opener on Thursday this week. LP-GE traveled a short distance to the north on Monday night to Bertha-Hewitt high school, where the Thunder picked up a 59-36 win over the No. 8-seeded Bears.
More to come...some time...probably in the morning...this week's Bonanza Valley Voice is moving to 16 pages tonight. Yes, a 16-page issue! Lordy, Lordy!!! Let's slay a few more trees. See you on the other side. Wish me luck. I will need it.
