Two conference basketball wins! Boys' basketball clinches the title!!

Two varsity basketball wins were recorded tonight for the Jaguar Country faithful!

At Eden Valley-Watkins, the B-B-E Jaguars girls' basketball team improved to 16-8 on the season with a 59-53 win over the Eagles. Tiyana Schwinghammer led the team with 19 points. They are now 10-3 in the Central Minnesota Conference with just one game remaining!

At home in front of a packed house, the B-B-E Jaguars boys' basketball team won 67-39 over Paynesville Area to sweep the season series with the Bulldogs. The Jaguars had great balance with four players scoring nine or more points. The win also gave the Jaguars sole possession of the 2021-2022 CMC title. They are now 11-1 in the CMC and 20-3 overall. The last time the Jaguars won conference title hardware was in 2013-2014, when they also finished as Class 1A state champions.

Next: both the boys' and girls' basketball teams host Kimball Area tomorrow night.
