Today is the big day in Benson! You can hear the action on Smooth Magic 107 FM both on the radio and their website.

The B-B-E Jaguars wrestling team faces No. 4-seeded Minneota at 12:30 p.m. at Benson high school.

**With two matches complete, the Jaguars and Vikings are tied 6-6 in the semifinal bout.

With the 132 match completed, the Jaguars are ahead 16 to 11. Wyatt Engen won a key 10-2 major decision at 132 pounds 

After 145: B-B-E 25, Minneota 11.

After 152: B-B-E 25, Minneota 14.

After 160: B-B-E 31, Minneota 14. Blaine Fischer won by pin during the first period in this match.

At 170, Maximus Hanson won a 14-0 major decision. Now we have a 35-14 lead.

****The Jaguars have clinched the section final berth!! Carson Gilbert won by pin at 182 for a 41-14 team score. 

After 220: B-B-E 47, Minneota 20!

FINAL: No. 1-seeded B-B-E 47, No. 4-seeded Minneota 23. The Jaguars advance to the Section 5A championship match!
