Canada has fallen

In Canada, high school student-athletes still have COVID-19 restrictions on their ability to play sports. Also in the school population, some kids are still scared to hold birthday parties because they "don't want to kill anyone."

One gentleman interviewed just outside Parliament Hill in Ottawa this morning was a young father of a one-year old son and a four-year old daughter. He said he desperately wants his daughter to play soccer this year. All that his son know is facemasks, everywhere they go - it's facemasks on everyone. The dad finds it terribly disturbing.

Let that all sink in! This is happening just across our state border to the north. Meanwhile, life in our towns in our corner of the Bonanza Valley area is "basically" back to normal, as if we were in February 2020.

Canada is a country with 88.56 percent of its population at least partially vaccinated and 79.36 percent fully vaccinated (for population ages 5 and older).
