Subsection semifinal battle (VIDEOS*)
That was a battle from start to finish! Every possession mattered, and everything every player did out there made a difference for the B-B-E Jaguars boys' basketball team in their second-round playoff win yesterday.
**Here's video from the latter part of the second half against K-M-S:
Senior Alex Call, who is signed to play baseball at Bethel University, led K-M-S with 21 points. Hunter Kallstrom had 13 points and got numerous high-percentage layups against the Jaguars.
Moving on to the championship! Let's all make tracks back to Minnewaska next Tuesday night! Let's pack that gym!!! You can bet the farm that the town and surrounding area of Hancock will be emptied out as Owls fans make the trip to cheer on their defending state runners-up boys' basketball team. Tip-off at MAHS is at 7 p.m.
I have a pile of unposted semifinals-round video and can't let it all go unviewed before tomorrow night. So here I am sneaking this on late Monday night.
**Here's a video featuring the opening minutes of the second half against K-M-S:
The video lasts almost 9 minutes.
We'll revisit basketball playoffs on Tuesday!
