Boys' basketball playoff opener: first half
In the first five minutes of the game, the B-B-E Jaguars boys' basketball team is ahead 6-4 over Benson in the playoff opener. The Braves are playing solid, physical defense right from the get go. The Jaguars soon led 8-4 when Will VanBeck went two-of-two at the line. By that point, six of B-B-E's eight points were on free throws.
Both radio stations are carrying the game.
With 10:29 left, Tanner Shelton canned a three-pointer to give the Jaguars a 13-5 lead. Back-to-back shots by Ashton Dingmann gave the Jaguars a 17-5 advantage with eight minutse left, and the Jaguars were in business.
