GAME NIGHT! Let's get the party started! (VIDEO)

The B-B-E Jaguars football team is ready to rock the Fighting Saints on the gridiron! Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg returns no fewer than 10 starters from last year's 4-6 squad that went 2-6 in the regular season and then 1-1 in the Section 4A playoffs. They return last year's reserve quarterback, junior Jared Cortez, who passed for 840 yards last year while then-senior Alex Call was out with injury. The Fighting Saints will be a formidable opponent for this year's season opener. This is in THEIR house to make it even tougher.

Kickoff from Murdock is at 7 p.m.

Here's a video that's never been posted from the season opener one year ago...that's right...it was Friday Night Lights I for the 2021 season when this action played out below...

Then-sophomore Luke Dingmann scored on a quarterback sneak with 6:59 left in the third quarter. The two-point pass conversion attempt was batted down by K-M-S to have a score of 20-0.

Game updates tonight will follow here in this blog post.
