Busy day today - now let's rally for volleyball (AGAIN!)

I've spent a good chunk of my day working on carpools for our Fergus Falls trip tomorrow! Let's get 1,500 fans there! WE CAN DO IT! I've more or less got our Suburban filled, and now we're working on getting a second vehicle filled with fans!

LOUD and PROUD! Let's do this! We have a 7 p.m. match at Fergus Falls high school tomorrow. I recommend getting to the gymnasium no later than 6:30 p.m. to get a seat! Fergus Falls is an easy 1 1/2 hour drive from Jaguar Country depending on where you're starting from.

**Here's a video from late in game two last night in the Sub-Section 6A-South finals:

In other sports news...
In the Section 4A football championship at the FargoDome today, Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg won 7-6 over Upsala/Swanville Area. The Fighting Saints (8-2) are heading to the state tournament for the first time since 2008, when they won the school's lone state football title. This year's section finals trip was the first time in the state-qualifying game since 2018, when Lester Prairie/Holy Trinity beat K-M-S 33-6 in the Section 4A title game. K-M-S also had state trips in 2004 (0-1 record at state) and 2007 (1-1 record at state). I don't recall any other state trips prior to 2004, but I could be wrong on that. I know they had an excellent team in 2003, and they were Section 5A runners-up in 2002 after losing 41-14 to Osakis to go to state. In 2003, defending section champion Osakis was defeated 20-13 by our B-B-E Jaguars in the opening round of the Section 5A playoffs at Osakis. The Jaguars were the No. 6 seed, while the Silverstreaks were the No. 3 seed. Then-senior AJ Hadley was the quarterback of that team.

Need to catch up quickly on upcoming events in Jaguar Country? You can refer to this any time you need to via access to the Internet...click on the following short link to see the full B-B-E community calendar: https://bit.ly/3UamEWe. This is updated at least a couple times per week.

This blog post is a wrap.
