Another crazy, huge, big week ahead (VIDEOS added)

The excitement will come in waves upon waves in the coming weeks. It will not let up for hopefully 2 more months!!! It is possible!

One huge event is on the horizon on Tuesday, when our B-B-E Jaguars boys' basketball team heads down Highway 55 for a border battle with the conference rival Paynesville Area. The Bulldogs are 11-4 overall and the No. 2-ranked team in Sub-Section 3AA-North at the moment.

Another game to circle on the calendar is Thursday night, when our B-B-E Jaguars girls' basketball team hosts first-place and No. 12-ranked Holdingford for a Central Minnesota Conference battle. The Huskers are 12-3 overall and 6-0 in the CMC. Their 12-game winning streak came to an end on Saturday with an 81-55 loss at Crosby-Ironton (9-5).

More to come. My Sunday was another crazy busy day. It was a joy to spend the day at BOLD high school in Olivia to watch four games featuring our Class of 2029 girls' basketball players (sixth grade) with the first game at 11 a.m. and the final game at 5 p.m.!

The wrestling team's next action is at the Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg triangular in Kerkhoven on Thursday, January 26 starting at 5 p.m.
