HOME cooking times TWO! Tonight (VIDEOS*)

I don't know if I'll be able to pull off what I want to pull off tonight, but for local fans, you've got two games to pick from as the winter weather has piled up activities on nights not originally on the schedule. This is gonna get crazy as we move through the coming weeks...

**Here's a video from early in the first half of the Cass Lake-Bena game last Friday in St. Cloud:

Tonight the B-B-E Jaguars boys' basketball team hosts Eden Valley-Watkins at the elementary in Brooten in their second Central Minnesota Conference game of the year. This is a game being played on a night it was originally scheduled. The Eagles would love nothing more than to come into our house and take a bite out of the defending conference champions. Our Jaguars will have to come out firing and ready to withstand what EV-W will bring.

**Here's a video from the second half of the South Ridge game last Friday:

**Here's a video from later in the second half of that South Ridge game:

Tonight the B-B-E Jaguars girls' basketball team hosts Kimball Area at the high school in Belgrade in a makeup game that was supposed to be our CMC opener way, way back on December 6. Influenza was the culprit that night, with the Cubs squad not having enough players to pull the game off.

During the Christmas break, I gathered a nice amount of scouting material on Kimball, and since then I've managed to misplace it. DANG it. It is worth noting that the Jaguars and Cubs met one another back on November 19 in the Sauk Centre scrimmage, although that was ages ago! Kimball Area is very good and lost just one player out of their top scorers from last year.

The Cubs (6-2, 1-1) currently average 50 points per game with a defensive average of 38.4 points. For B-B-E, they are averaging 65.6 points per game (best in the CMC) with a defensive average of 55. That defensive average has to improve.

How about I turn your attention to some Belgrade library news!! We are so blessed to have an amazing small town library right in our community. Read about their winter reading program by clicking over to the Bonanza Valley Voice newspaper website (short link): https://bit.ly/3vDrXTE.

***UPDATE: the wrestling team won 56-15 at the Albany triangular against the host Huskies. Cool!!! I hope to get a new blog post added before tip-off of the girls' basketball game.
