With 5 minutes left in the first half, the Jaguars hold a 23-14 lead. They initially trailed 2-0 as they shook off the rust in the opening minutes while putting away a six-night layoff. Harley Roering got the Jaguars rolling with a three-pointer two minutes in. She hit a second three-pointer to give the Jaguars a 6-4 lead one minute later. With 13:15 left, a slash to the basket down the right side of the lane by Tiyana Schwinghammer made it a 9-4 lead. Roering's third three-pointer of the first half with 11:56 left made it a 14-4 lead to cap an 11-0 run. After the Falcons fought to close it to 19-14, the Jaguars scored 12 unanswered points.

HALFTIME: B-B-E 34, A-C-GC 16.

Update in the second half...with about 5 minutes to go, the Jaguars hold a 47-34 lead. FINAL: B-B-E 53, A-C-GC 34. Time to head home. This blog post will be revamped with a new look later tonight that features game video and a game recap. Those of us who were at the game are all shell-shocked at seeing one of our players go down and have to leave the game. That was very, very tough to see. We are all praying for her recovery.

The Jaguars had very balanced scoring with eight players finding the scoring column. They were led by Harley Roering's 12 points on four three-pointers. AsThey shot an ice-cold 25 percent on field goals in the second half.
