Snow-Day make up date! And other news

At tonight's school board meeting in the elementary library, a weather-related make-up date was set for B-B-E schools as Friday, March 31 (in school). As of now this is the final make-up day...we will see what else winter has in store for us.

Also, on Monday last week, the high school fastpitch teams started preseason practices. It's anyone's guess when the first games could be played (likely mid-April at the earliest).

Today, the baseball and track and field teams started official preseason practices. I haven't caught up to boys' golf to see where things stand for that program.

The Glacial Ridge ABATE chapter will host a meat raffle on Friday, March 24 at Heidi's Bar in Sedan; Heidi's will also have a food special during the raffle with a $6 taco bar (what a deal!)...bring your dollar bills and be ready for a good time! The ABATE organization is a motorcycle group advocating safety education, fun and riding.
