Subsection playoffs continue for boys' basketball team (UPDATES)

Tonight the No. 11-ranked (Minnesota Basketball News) B-B-E Jaguars boys' basketball team faces Hancock in the Sub-Section 6A-South semifinals. The game has a 6 p.m. tip-off at Minnewaska Area high school and was rescheduled from Saturday due to the weather. I don't have confirmation, but I expect both radio stations will cover it.

Today has been chewed up by work on the March 16 issue of the Bonanza Valley Voice newspaper. There's a pile of robotics coverage to get to.

*Here's a video that includes Kaden Pieper hitting the 2,000-point mark for his career:

More to come with game updates posted here in this blog post after 18:00 tonight...AND BOTH radio stations are here! Both The Train 106.5 FM and Smooth Magic 107 FM of Glenwood. They both stream on their respective websites.

**Update: Hancock holds a 12-8 lead with 9 minutes and 48 seconds to go on the first half.

**With 3 minutes and 7 Seconds to go on the first half, the Owls are ahead 21 to 19.

HALFTIME: B-B-E 27, Hancock 23. Luke Dingmann scored on a steal and layup with just 3 seconds to go. His and-one free throw gave the Jaguars the four-point halftime advantage. The Owls are playing tenacious defense while putting tremendous pressure on B-B-E's outside shooters. It's made for one hell of a game so far.

***In the second half was 6 minutes and 7 seconds to go, the Jaguars have a 44 to 36 lead. **This blog post is a wrap...more to come in a NEW blog post.
