State baseball! Updates (VIDEO)

Game updates to follow from Joe Faber Field in St. Cloud today...first pitch against South Ridge is set for 3:30 p.m., although it may be after that...we know it won't be before that time. The game will be on the Glenwood radio station.

In Class 3A, No. 2-seeded St. Thomas Academy lost in their quarterfinal game today.  

**At state golf, Brady Schwinghammer finished day one 2 under par.

GAME UPDATES at State...
After two innings, the score is tied 0 to 0.

After 2 1/2 innings, the score remains 0 to 0. The Jaguars left one stranded in the first inning, two stranded in the second and one in the top of the third.

In the bottom of the third inning, the Panthers took a 1-0 lead.

**This game is crazy, it's near the end and I'm so paranoid, I can't even post another update. The stakes are so high right now going into the seventh inning. Someone pass me the valium!

Final: the Jaguars won the game 2-1 in regulation innings! They scored both runs in the top of the fourth inning, with Casey Lenarz scoring the game winner. Tanner Shelton pitched a complete game win.

Now 14-11 overall, they play in  the semifinals tomorrow at Joe Faber Field at 1:30 p.m.
