Halftime in Melrose

We have a grinder going in Melrose tonight for the B-B-E Jaguars girls' basketball team's season opener! It's a border battle and more as the Jaguars attempt to stay hot against non-conference opponents as they were last year. Tonight's game is being broadcast on 106.5 FM The Train of Norway Lake-Sunburg! Thanks, Bill Dean!! (Link: https://www.willmarradio.com/calendar/train_sports)

Through the first four minutes, the Jaguars held a 9-2 lead with a 9-0 scoring run. After that they went stone cold, however, and at halftime the Dutchmen hold a 25-21 lead. B-B-E has made just 6 of 17 free throws in the first half.

The second half is set to begin at 20:16 from Melrose Area high school.
