Two monster wrestling wins (VIDEOS)
The B-B-E Jaguars wrestling team solidified its lofty state ranking by demolishing both Paynesville Area and Kimball Area on Tuesday in a Central Minnesota Conference triangular.
After facing the host Cubs and racking up a 72-6 win, the Jaguars breezed past the Bulldogs by a 42-19 score. Paynesville Area, who has their strongest team in at least 8 years, was ranked No. 5 in the latest Guillotine Class 1A rankings.
The No. 3-ranked Jaguars take a 5-1 dual meet record into the Christmas break. Their next action is on the home mats for a six-team invitational in Belgrade on Friday, January 5 starting at 2:30 p.m.
**Here's a re-post of a video from the dual against Border West on December 7 at Minnewaska:
Aiden Mueller, a freshmen, won that match by a 9-8 decision.
**Here's a video from the K-3 elementary program back about two weeks ago...
More to come on Thursday afternoon when I'll be updating the Bonanza Valley Voice newspaper website. It's still a busy time getting ready for Thursday night's girls' basketball game and preparing for the weekend when Christmas finally arrives!
