Dominant in Douglas County (VIDEO)

It was total domination from start to finish tonight for the B-B-E Jaguars volleyball team in a non-conference match at Brandon-Evansville high school. The Jaguars utilized a robust 35 percent hitting mark to take down the subsection rival Chargers in three short sets: 25-10, 25-14, 25-12.

Brandon-Evansville's record is 1-4 according to Minnesota-Scores.net, but their results from Long Prairie this past weekend are not posted yet.

Now 16-2 overall, the No. 11-ranked (Coaches Association) Jaguars resume Central Minnesota Conference action with a home match on Thursday against Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City. The Falcons are 5-9 overall and 0-2 in the CMC.

So! This almost slipped through the few cracks I have in my news/sports media conglomerate...I have finally uploaded the "Game Five" video clip that's now exactly one week old from New London. The video is being processed on YouTube as of 9 p.m. tonight.

Here it is...all of the exciting game five at NL-S high school last week:

It's worth noting that since their 3-2 loss to our Jaguars, the Wildcats have picked up two straight wins going into their home match tonight against undefeated Albany. The Huskies are the No. 1-ranked team in Class 2A by QRF. They are also No. 1 in the latest Minnesota Volleyball Coaches Association poll.

In the QRF rankings, the Jaguars have climbed to No. 2 from No. 8 in the previous rankings. In Class 1A, Minnesota has 151 teams.

Area volleyball scores on September 17:
Albany 3, New London-Spicer 0
