Granite City Classic Day II! Updates

Tip-off should be right after 10 a.m. this morning at St. Cloud Tech high school. Our B-B-E Jaguars girls' basketball team is ready to take on section rival Walker-Hackensack-Akeley. The Wolves are ranked No. 20 in Class 1A by QRF out of 150 teams. In their game yesterday, they beat Pierz 63-35. The Jaguars entered yesterday's game ranked No. 67 on the same scale.

Game updates to follow at halftime.

Update: with just over 8 minutes to play in the first half, the Jaguars took a 13-11 lead on a layup by Adley Hagen. At halftime: B-B-E 23, W-H-A 22. This has been a fantastic game so far with outstanding defense by both teams.

Final: B-B-E 57, W-H-A 54! The Jaguars slay another giant and improve to 6-5 overall.

In the boys' basketball game against Cass Lake-Bena, the Jaguars trail 35-34 at halftime.
