Mainstreeters in four (VIDEOS)

Our varsity teams have taken two tough, close losses during the front half of Homecoming week at B-B-E. In a non-conference border battle tonight, the B-B-E Jaguars volleyball team fell 3-1 to Sauk Centre. After the Jaguars won the opening set, the Mainstreeters won out in sets to improve to 13-3 overall. Game scores were 25-23, 20-25, 23-25, 21-25.

Sauk Centre trailed 11-9 in game 4 before going on an 8-2 run. The Jaguars could get no closer than 3 points the rest of the way.

Here's a short video from game one tonight:

In game three, which Sauk Centre won 25-20, the Jaguars had a hitting percentage of just 9.3 percent. They had a respectable 91.1 percent serving percentage, but the Mainstreeters were especially tough at their service game, and it showed in games 3 and 4.

Next: the Jaguars (12-5 overall) host Eden Valley-Watkins on Thursday this week in Central Minnesota Conference action.

Here's a video featuring the player introductions tonight:

If you're reading this sentence, that means this blog post is a wrap...this is all I've got to post. I need to get the newspaper to press and get a good night's sleep to be fully prepared for the 10th annual Color FUND Run! It starts at 1 p.m. sharp tomorrow at the high school athletic complex.
