Belgrade's August Fest is underway (VIDEO)

The food and music was terrific tonight at the opening night of the Belgrade August Fest. The band Southern Crossroads played music at the Belgrade city park while a petting zoo was held and a meal and drinks were served out of the park shelter. Members of the Belgrade Fire Department and the Belgrade-Brooten Police Department hosted a Touch-a-Truck event at the same time.

The next big Belgrade August Fest event is on Friday with the Fire Department chicken BBQ supper plus the Kensington Bank ice cream social. These events take place from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Belgrade VFW. The band Kentucky Thunder will perform starting at 7 p.m. at the same location.
