Lensing Returns to State Track and Field Tournament - Section 5A Meet Held Today

The Jaguars track and field team will send Heidi Lensing to state this year, after her second-place performance in the High Jump. It's her second straight trip to state, as she went last year as a sophomore in the Long Jump (placing 5th).

The boys 400-meter Relay team endured an injury to the 3rd-leg runner and had a disappointing finish in their race at Sections. Injuries happen, that's the nature of the beast.

We had a great turnout at the athletic banquet tonight at the Padua Pub. I will also add that the chicken was great! Dave wouldn't have it any other way.

I'm off to bed early tonight, I'll post photos and other info tomorrow. The sunburn-effect took a lot out of me today.
