Jaguars boys basketball wins share of Central Minnesota Conference title - defeats Eden Valley-Watkins

The Jaguars are 21-4 going into the final game of the regular season, on Saturday at 2:30pm at the high school.

The 21 wins ties the school record for regular season wins. They are 11-2 in the CMC, clinching a share of their first-ever conference championship in boys basketball.

The Jaguars have been runner-up in the conference numerous times in the 21-year history of B-B-E.

1990-1991, 1996-1997, 1997-1998, 2001-2002, and 2002-2003. Four out of those five seasons, the Jaguars finished one game out from a share of the conference title.

Much like the Jaguars volleyball team did in November 2005 when they first went to "state," the Jaguars boys basketball's conference title jinx has finally been broken.

More will follow on Saturday morning.
