Tensen drops Wrestling State Tournament opener by a 12-0 score to Jake Long of West Central Area

Jaguars wrestling junior Cole Tensen faced a tall order in his first match at state tonight: 38-1 Jake Long of West Central Area, two-time defending Section 6A champion. Tensen fell in a 12-0 match.

If Long wins his second round of action, Tensen would have a second chance at advancing in the individual tournament bracket. He entered the tournament with a 34-6 record for this year. He has 103 wins total for his career.
