Jaguars Baseball wins eighth straight playoff opener, beats Kimball 8-4, Freshmen pitcher Brady Weller picks up complete-game win

The Jaguars improve to 6-14 overall, and will travel to Eden Valley on Friday for a 5pm game at Hawks Field. The host Eden Valley-Watkins Eagles (15-3) are the number one seed.

In the season opener on April 14 at Eden Valley, the Jaguars lost a nail biter 7-6. In the rematch on April 27 in Elrosa the Jaguars fell 11-1. Revenge will be on their minds as they attempt to pull off a huge and very possible upset.

Freshmen Brady Weller pitched a complete game tonight for his first career varsity playoff win. The report I heard said that he threw his first and only walk of the night in the seventh inning.
