Sub-Section 5A-West fastpitch quarterfinal results - Jaguars will face Maple Lake tomorrow

Though there wasn't much drama going into it, the Maple Lake Irish won their quarterfinal game today in a home matchup with the 8th-seeded Browerville Tigers. Final score was 13-0.

In the other two quarterfinals tonight: Osakis 12, Kimball Area 2 in five innings... A-C-GC pulled off a six-vs-three upset with a 6-2 win at Holdingford, as the Falcons improved to 11-8.

Tomorrow Osakis will face A-C-GC in one semi-final game, with the Jaguars taking on state-ranked and top-seeded Maple Lake in the other semi. Both games will take place at 5pm at the Minnewaska Area high school fastpitch complex.
