Remember Friday night... Elrosa Saints host Lake Henry in a Stearns County League interdivision matchup

First pitch is set for 8:15pm on Friday night, May 15, when Elrosa (1-1) hosts undefeated Lake Henry (2-0).

As this is being written, it's 42 degrees outside my office! The forecast for Friday is rain/showers during the day, then breaking by 6pm and sunshine and 60 degrees in the evening. Sounds about perfect for some amateur baseball!

Also on Friday night in the Stearns County League...St.Martin hosts Farming, a town sitting a whole 5 miles to the east. That's our local version of a "border battle," something that makes Stearns County League baseball so much fun to follow and promote.

On Sunday in the Stearns County League...Lake Henry hosts Richmond, Meire Grove hosts Roscoe, and Greenwald hosts New Munich. Those games are at 1:30.

Thursday night Sub-Section 5A-West fastpitch "pigtail" result:
*Kimball Area 14, Eden Valley-Watkins 9 (EV-W is done, Kimball advances to face #2-seeded Osakis at 5:00 on Friday in the quarterfinals.
*Browerville 8, Upsala 6 (B'ville will face Maple Lake on Friday)
