Random football notes from tonight:
-From the way I read the stats, Royalton punted only one time during their 42-9 win at K-M-S tonight. Tyler Cebulla was the punter, and his effort was good for a distance of 28 yards. The senior fullback also carried the ball eight times for 101 yards, including touchdown runs of 6 and 11 yards. His younger brother Tucker kicked two PAT on the Royals' final two touchdowns.

-Albany committed 6 turnovers in their loss at NL-S tonight - the Huskies were
stopped twice in the red zone, one time at the Wildcats' 2-yard line on fourth down.

-Willmar (3-1) scored 14 unanswered points on Little Falls to erase a 25-14 deficit that stood on the scoreboard early in the fourth quarter.

-Royalton invaded Fighting Saints country tonight and held K-M-S to 243 yards total in offense. K-M-S had 76 yards passing, the rest rushing.

-At A-C-GC, the Falcons piled up 413 yards of offense against Minnewaska, with 395 yards coming on the ground in a whopping total of 73 rushing plays. Only six plays were passing plays. The visiting Lakers (1-3 overall) were held to 242 yards overall while running only 27 offensive plays.

In their impressive win over Paynesville, LQPV rushed for only 41 yards, but passed for 224.

Renville County West has only 19 players suiting up for their varsity games. (Ouch!) They still managed to defeat Fulda 14-7 tonight, picking up 12 sacks along the way in a game played down in Fulda (just north of Worthington in SW MN) It was RCW's first win of the season.
