Jaguars Volleyball is buried in game one by Bertha-Hewitt, loses 25-12

The Jaguars will have to regroup or they will fall in the sub-section championship for the first time since 2003, when Albany swept them out of the Section 6AA playoffs.

Bertha-Hewitt jumped in front in game two 11-5.

The Jaguars then trailed 19-17 in game two, which they ultimately won to tie the match at one game apiece!

The Jaguars led 5-3 early in game three before falling into an 8-8 tie and then a 9-8 deficit.

Later in game three, the Jaguars led 16-12, after which the Bears called a timeout.

Solid defense helped the Jaguars go up 18-12, forcing the Bears into hitting errors.

A Maggie Gruber kill put the Jaguars up 19-12.

The Bears then fought back for a 20-18 deficit, bringing Coach Weller to call a timeout.

The Jaguars ultimately won game three in dramatic fashion, by a 28-26 margin.

It's 8:55 and game four is now starting. The match began at 7:40pm.

The Jaguars went up 20-15 in game four.

Game four ended in an anti-climactic way, with Bertha-Hewitt serving out of bounds after trailing 24-21 on a sideout.

The Jaguars won!
