Jaguars Boys Basketball hammers Hancock 84-57, Girls Basketball tagged with third straight loss

The Jaguars boys basketball team improved to 3-1 overall with a sound thrashing of the visiting Hancock Owls (0-2). Eleven players hit the scoring column for the Blue and Silver.

The Jaguars boys basketball JV team defeated Hancock 64-36 in the earlier game.

Meanwhile, at the high school, the Jaguars girls basketball team fell to 0-3 overall with a 49-39 loss to visiting Ortonville (2-1). The Trojans were 4-19 last season.

It marks the first time since 2001-2002 that the girls basketball has opened 0-3.
