Also, **New London-Spicer won the Section 6AA championship for the third year in a row. They defeated Staples-Motley 71-68 in overtime last night.

Final score from Section 6A: Hillcrest Lutheran Academy 62, Ada-Borup 56. Many doubted HLA's chances against #4-ranked Ada-Borup, but they pulled it off.

The Comets (23-2) made 12 of their final 16 free throws in the game’s final 3 minutes, 23 seconds to hold off a Cougars’ comeback.
