Tonight is the Jaguars' 8th appearance in a sub-section championship game. They've won four of seven previous trips to a sub-section final.

In Dave Montbriand's 17 seasons as head coach, he has guided the team to all eight sub-section title game showings. Current assistant coach Brad Goodwin coached the first two B-B-E teams from 1988-1990, and from 2005-2008 Ryan Davis and Chuck Thompson were the head coaches.

1992 - loss to Rocori
1997 - win over Underwood
1998 - win over Paynesville
2002 - loss to Ortonville
2004 - win over Osakis
2005 - win over Wheaton/Herman-Norcros
2009 - loss to New London-Spicer
2010 - TBD

Their 25-3 record is a new school record for wins in a season, breaking last year's 24-5 record, which broke the 23-4 record of the 2001-2002 squad.

The 13-1 CMC record is the most wins ever in a conference. 12-2 was the old mark set in 2001-2002 and repeated last year.
