Jaguars girls tennis conference opener is rained out - Cross Country meet goes on as scheduled
The Jaguars girls tennis team will have to find another date to host New York Mills, as the courts were too wet and the rain did not let up at match time today at the High School athletic complex.
The rain did not stop the Jaguar Cross Country Invitational from taking place, as the Prairie View Community Golf Course grounds were more than able to take the rain that's fallen today and still have good or excellent running conditions.
Later tonight I'll be adding information about the fifth annual Molten Southwest Minnesota Volleyball Challenge, which the Jaguars volleyball team has been invited to. It starts tomorrow night (Friday) at 5:00pm at the Marshall Area High School, when the Jaguars will take on Class AAA Woodbury. A total of 32 teams are competing, and all will play five matches, with two on Friday night and three coming on Saturday.
