Jaguars volleyball - number one seed for the fourth year in a row

Earlier this afternoon, the Jaguars volleyball team earned the top seed in the southwest pod of Section 5A for the fourth straight year. They will host the winner of the Kimball vs. Eden Valley-Watkins match this week Friday at 7:00pm.

If the Jaguars win on Friday, they will host a sub-section semi-final match next week Tuesday, Nov. 2. The match would begin at 8:01pm to allow for voting precincts to close.

2010 Sub-Section 5A-Southwest pod seedings:

1st - BBE. 2nd - Upsala. 3rd - Osakis. 4th - EV-W. 5th - Kimball Area. 6th - Royalton. 7th - Swanville.

Section 5A schedule: October 28 - play in round. October 29 - sub-section quarterfinals. November 2 - sub-section semi-finals (high seeds host). November 4 - sub-section championship. November 6 - section championship. The sub-section and section championship games will be hosted at Pierz Healy High School, where the Jaguars are no strangers.
