Noteworthy - the price of one missed layup

At a future date, I'll add more detail to this.

In the 2001-2002 season, which was a very exciting and memorable year for the B-B-E Jaguars boys basketball team, one bad play was the difference between being Central Minnesota Conference champions and settling for a second place finish.

One play.

It ended up being a missed layup in one of their conference games in February that gave the Jaguars the second of their two CMC losses, in a season where they finished 12-2 in the conference. Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted would finish 13-1 that year.

Since I've got your attention here, I want to add that tomorrow night's boys basketball game at home against Holdingford will be aired on 106.5 FM The Train. Both Bill Dean and Don Leukam will be providing the play-by-play coverage.
