Not good - here's a story from the Morrison County Record, regarding athletes on the Pierz boys basketball team

Five Pierz High School students, two adults and three juveniles, have recently been charged with fifth degree assault allegedly stemming from a hazing incident.

The incident allegedly occurred on a school bus ride returning from a boys basketball game Jan. 7.

Misdemeanor citations were issued charging Brandon Deane Meyer, 18, Pierz with two counts and Andrew James Leidenfrost, 18, with four counts of fifth degree assault

If found guilty, Meyer and Liedenfrost each face a maximum penalty of 90 days in jail and/or a $1,000 fine.

I am not sure how this will affect the status of the eligibility of the players, but I assume that senior Brandon Meyer will face further problems as the regular season winds down and playoffs approach in March. Meyer is a key starter and a big contributor to the team. He scored 16 points against Wadena-Deer Creek in a 71-61 win on February 8, to go with two rebounds, five assists, and four steals.

Pierz is 5-4 in the CMC and 8-11 overall.
