Tough, very tough - the Jaguar girls get the #7 seed - not happy (again) with the Little Eight Conference

For the second year in a row, the Jaguar girls got a rough seed in the sub-section...hopefully they can use it as motivation for a nice push through the playoffs, which begin next Monday night.

Real briefly, here's the seedings for Sub-Section 6A-South:

1 - Hancock (this I'm on board with)
2 - Parkers Prairie
3 - Underwood
4 - Hillcrest Lutheran Academy
5 - Battle Lake (no way!)
6 - Brandon/Evansville (no way!)
7 - B-B-E
8 - Wheaton/Herman-Norcross
9 - Henning
10 - Clinton/Graceville/Beardsley
11 - Ashby

  • The playoff schedule for the Jaguars girls basketball team is as follows:
Monday, February 28 - a home playoff game against #10-seed Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley at 7:00pm. This is a play-in round game for the sub-section. The C-G-B Wolverines are 4-16 overall and have lost their last nine games. They beat Ashby 41-29 in Ashby on January 18.

**The Jaguars' playoff opener will be broadcast on 106.5 FM The Train, I just found out this afternoon.

Thursday, March 3 - if the Jaguars beat C-G-B, they will travel to #2-seed Parkers Prairie for another 7:00pm contest.

Action from early in the second half between B-B-E and Minnewaska Area on Saturday afternoon.
