Tip-off will take place at about 7:46pm tonight.
Comments from first-year head coach Chad Klindworth of Wheaton/Herman-Norcross:
"I watched them last night vs. Rockford. They trap and press and get up and down the court. They're explosive and shoot the three really well. We'll be ready to go.
Everybody in the gym thinks we'll lose by 40; we'll try to put on a show for the fans and play a good game."
"We won't stall, but we need to make layups. We're big and tall, if we can slow it down a little bit, it should be a good game."
**Update halfway through the first half at Wheaton: the Jaguars have opened up a 22-9 lead. Kirby Montbriand has drained 9 points to help the early scoring surge. Then with 6:50 left, the Jaguars lead is 25-14. Halftime: B-B-E 41, W/H-N 20.Final: B-B-E 74, W/H-N 33. The Jaguars led 56-30 with 9:40 left in the game. The Jaguars girls' basketball team lost 54-39 at Holdingford tonight. They host Brandon/Evansville in a very important sub-section match up next Monday on the home floor. The Chargers are an excellent ball club; they drubbed Little Eight Conference rival Battle Lake 47-26 tonight to improve to 9-3 overall and 5-1 (2nd place) in the league. They are certainly a team the Jaguars have the ability to beat, if B-B-E puts together a complete game. Results from the Paynesville wrestling tournament held on Friday are: 1.
