Jaguar girls knock Pierz down to 3rd place
In the second-to-last game of the regular season, the Jaguars girls' basketball team picked up a huge upset win at Pierz on Tuesday night. The Pioneers were 14-9 overall coming in and 9-3 in the Central Minnesota Conference.
The Jaguars trailed 29-28 at halftime. By the time the game was over, they had shot a red-hot 17-for-18 from the free throw line. Pierz went 6-for-16 at the stripe.
Final score: B-B-E 55, Pierz 50.
