Jaguars are losing at halftime

Rough going at halftime for the Jaguars...they trail 28-14 to the host Cubs.

At Holdingford, the Pioneers have a 7-6 lead over the Huskers.

Minnewaska is getting creamed by BOLD 28-0 in their home opener.

A quick volleyball note: the Jaguars volleyball team defeated Class AAA East Ridge 2-1 in the opening round of the Southwest Minnesota Challenge tonight while improving to 4-0 overall. They were then defeated in two games by Class AAA powerhouse Lakeville North. The win over East Ridge marked nice revenge over the Raptors, who defeated the Jaguars last year 2-0 in the opening round of this tournament.

Action resumes for the Jaguars tomorrow in Marshall at 9:30am against Class AA Belle Plaine. The Tigers are the defending Minnesota River Conference champions and went 22-8 overall last year.
