Jaguars dug, swung, clawed and battled to the end against Nevis

Taylor Braegelman knocks a kill straight at a Nevis block with the ball falling on the Tigers' side of the net in game three tonight at Pierz.
Game three saw Nevis go up 2-0 early and then Becca Gruber earn an ace tip and an ace attack to tie it at 2-2. The Jaguars fought for ties at 3-3 and 4-4 but played two to three points almost the rest of the way before falling in the end 25-20.

Here's the Class A state tournament field with all eight section champions listed with overall record heading into state along with their final QRF ranking:
1 - Bethlehem Academy (23-7) 1st
2 - Martin County West (23-9-1) 18th
3 - Minneota (29-3) 2nd
4 - Southwest Christian (23-10) 7th
5 - Nevis (24-8-1) 6th
6 - Underwood (27-4) 19th
7 - North Woods (23-3) 16th
8 - Win-E-Mac (27-6) 11th

When looking through the list, four of the eight are in the top seven on the QRF along with a very good Win-E-Mac team coming in at 11th. I predict the top five seeds will come in as the QRF shows.
1st- Bethlehem Academy (defending state champs)
2nd - Minneota (I have to say they are very deserving of a #2 seed)
3rd - Nevis (they earned this seed with their QRF ranking and by beating B-B-E, who was ranked higher on the QRF than they were)
4th - Southwest Christian (beat a very good Mayer Lutheran team to get to state)
5th - Win-E-Mac
