More from the girls' basketball game against Melrose

The Dutchmen had a hand in her face and were applying good defense, but Mariah Rach hit from the outside on this baseline shot with 3:25 left in the first half for a 26-17 Jaguar lead on Thursday night.

The Jaguars later stretched the lead to double digits at 30-19 on a three-pointer by Kelsey Heinsius before the halftime buzzer sounded.

Notice the three scouts in the bleachers behind all the action...one is Sauk Centre head coach Scott Bergman, whose Mainstreeters travel to Melrose on Tuesday. I don't recognize the other two, but it's possible they represent Central Minnesota Conference teams.
